Charities can get cash aid
THE Yorkshire Building Society, which has a branch in Barnoldswick, will support 15 charity projects across the country with a donation of £10,000 as part of its 150th birthday celebrations.
MP Andrew Stephenson is encouraging Pendle charities to apply for the money by visiting www.ybs.co.uk/ legacy. The deadline for applications is next Friday.
