Make microchipping your pet project
DOG and cat owners in Burnley are being encouraged to attend a microchipping event this weekend.
To help owners meet the government deadlines of compulsory microchipping by 2016, owners can bring their cat or dog to Pets at Home in Burnley any time on the Saturday or Sunday and get their pet microchipped for just £10.
Adam Wolstenholme, store manager at Pets at Home Burnley, said: “As the government deadlines approach, we want to highlight the benefits of microchipping to help owners avoid the heartache of losing a pet.
