RIBBLE Valley Borough Council’s mobile benefits advice van will be out and about in Simonstone next week.
STAN, which stands for ‘Services to a Neighbourhood’, is a joint venture between Ribble Valley, Pendle and Rossendale borough councils, and Help Direct. It provides information on over 800 public services and 2,000 community organisations, such as the NHS, police and fire Service, Ribble Valley Homes and community and voluntary groups and services.
It will be in the Stork Hotel car park on Wednesday, August 27, from 10am to 4pm. For more information, call 0303 333 111.
