A CEREMONY is to be held in a Ribble Valley village to rededicate a set of memorial plaques.
The event at Rimington Memorial Institute in Newby Lane has been organised to make the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
It is on Sunday, August 4, from 6pm.
The ceremony will feature the names of the men from the village who lost their lives during the First and Second World Wars.
The plaques are currently displayed in the institute.
The service will be conducted by The Reverend David Isaacs of Martin Top Chapel.
