Teacher arrested
A TEACHER has been arrested on suspicion of sexual activity with a child.
The male teacher, from Canon Slade C of E secondary school in Bolton, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, has been bailed until July 16 while police investigate.
Police said the matter was reported to them on Tuesday.
A letter has been sent to parents at the school, which takes youngsters from East Lancashire.
