A BLACKBURN jeweller has set his team of employees a challenge in a bid to raise £1,000s for local charities Each of the five Peter Jackson the Jeweller stores in the North West, including the Blackburn store in The Mall, will receive an initial £500 from the company to start their fundraising campaign.
The store raising the most money by the end of July will also have their total doubled by the managing director. Each team is supporting a separate charity.
Mr Jackson said: “As a company we are always supportive of local worthy causes, so I’m sure that by creating this element of competition, our teams will rise to the challenge and come up with winning ways of raising, hopefully, huge amounts of money.”
