1,000 attend event
MORE than 1,000 people attended Bangor Street Community Centre fun day last week.
The event, in aid of the Mayor’s charity, the Blackburn with Darwen Kidney Care Appeal, raised more than £1,000. The Mayor, Councillor Salim Mulla, said: “This event was absolutely wonderful and it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying themselves.”
