I'VE visited and been most impressed by the current Anne Frank - And You, commemorative exhibition, being staged until the end of May at Blackburn Cathedral. An excellent idea, beautifully presented by the efforts of Anjum Anwar, Canon Chris Chivers and ex-Change, the cathedral's hardworking interfaith and community agency team.

The exhibition, bringing us from the past depravation and anti-semitism suffered by Anne Frank's family, in the Second World War, is what is still happening in present-day society, to a lesser degree, with the hope and progress being nurtured today.

Whether young or old, whatever culture one country, whatever faith or no-faith you profess, please try and make the effort to visit this very excellent exhibition at Blackburn Cathedral.

But be prepared to shed a tear, beautiful transcripts from Anne Frank and Nelson Mandela.

Of the Holocaust: No earthy punishment befits the crime' but Allah-Almighty God can bring something good out of such evil.
