Labour to blame for most of tax

IF my name was Victor Meldrew and not Heather Sharpe, I would simply say "I don't believe it."
Labour have put out a leaflet grumbling that Conservatives have increased council taxes by 45 per cent over eight years.
They conveniently ignore the fact that, where there has beenLabour control, for example at Lancashire County Council, there has been a 95 per cent increase in taxes during the same period.
As Labour Lancashire County Council takes three-quarters of the total council tax from us, that is why we pay such high amounts.
