I WOULD like to endorse the letter of R Bracewell about the lack of enthusiasm from the England footballers. It makes one wonder if they know the national anthem.

They should be proud to play for their country and do this by going on to the field and singing as loud as they can and show the opposition they are not only proud of their country, but they are going to fight as hard as they can to make the country proud of them.

They should take a look at the rugby teams in Great Britain and Ireland – those lads can belt it out. Get with it, England!
