Money could be used in our ward

At the last Blackburn with Darwen Council meeting, Councillor Jim Smith, of Mill Hill ward, stated that any monies allocated to his ward for the facelifting of properties would be ‘thrown back into the face’ of the executive member by the residents.

Given that this money is not required in Mill Hill, I am sure that my fellow Ewood Ward councillors, Councillors Bateson and Milburn, would join with me in requesting that the money be transferred to properties in Ewood Ward where it will be gratefully received by the householders.
