A cross has to be significant

RE your report on the banning of the wearing of a cross in school.

Your article states: “The school’s prospectus, available on their website, states: ‘Jewellery is not permitted unless it has religious significance’.”

Excuse me, but I would have thought that a cross was the most significant piece of jewellery in a Christian's life.
