THE north Lancashire village of Wray's famous Scarecrow Festival and Fair begins this Saturday.
To celebrate the ten-day event's silver jubilee, villagers will be attempting to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest number of people dressed as scarecrows, complete with straw hair, patched clothes and masks or painted faces.
