CARNFORTH Civic Hall's main hall is to a get a new floor.
The existing floor is "degrading", hall manager Rik Marsden told Carnforth Town Council's asset management committee. He suggested the replacement flooring be laminate to attract groups such as dancers, as well as being suitable for meetings and conferences.
Meanwhile, a groundworks contractor is to be asked for advice about subsidence in the civic hall's parking area; and the yellow lines are to be repainted, with incoming town clerk Bob Bailey volunteering for the task.
