PLANNING consent to convert boarding school accommodation at Casterton into 20 dwellings has been granted on appeal.
Last year South Lakeland District Council refused planning permission to Eight Property Limited for the conversion of Bronte House, Crookenden House and Garner House, at Lower School.
The developer appealed and planning consent has now been granted by Government inspector Matthew Birkinshaw for the buildings to be turned into houses and flats.
