REPAIRS to Silverdale's war memorial have been delayed, parish councillors were told.
The work was promised for the end of July/August, according to the unconfirmed minutes of Silverdale Parish Council's recent meeting. Clerk Denise Challenor is to ask for a new date.
Meanwhile, Cllr Terry Bond said a power supply for the defibrillator proposed outside Silverdale Bowling Club cannot be arranged via the street light. The council is to ask BT if the equipment can be housed in the Elmslack/Cove Road phone box.
