TWENTY-two new affordable homes planned for Carnforth were to be discussed by Carnforth Town Council last night (Wednesday, July 19).
A dozen one-bedroom flats and 10 one-bed houses for rent are proposed on land at the junction of Windermere Road and Dunkirk Avenue. The applicant, Lancashire Regeneration Property Partnership, of Preston, is seeking to demolish disused garages at the plot, which also features green open space, according to plans submitted to Lancaster City Council.
