PUPILS at Wilson's Endowed CE School, Over Kellet, have been in awe watching chicks hatch in a special incubator.
Local resident Helen Wain organised for the eggs to be in school ready to hatch. She has kept a daily watch on the new arrivals who will eventually move to her allotment in the village.

The children have watched as the little black, Wyandotte chicks pecked their way out of the eggs. They have been fascinated to see them stand and learn how to peck for food.
"It has been wonderful to give the children this special experience of new life," said Helen.
