AN inquest has been opened into the death of retired company director Tony Taylor in the yard of his Rishton farm.

Mr Taylor, 66, was found trapped under the bucket of his Bob Cat' tractor on Sunday afternoon with the engine still running.

A post-mortem examination has been carried out and the cause of death given as asphyxia due to a compression injury to neck and chest.

The Health and Safety Executive are investigating.
