A 57-YEAR-old Rishton man has been arrested on suspicion of a rape from 22 years ago.
The arrest has been made in connection with the rape of a 20-year-old woman in August 1988 in Canterbury.
Kent police reopened the cold case and with the help of forensic teams officers.
The Rishton man was arrested this morning. He is currently being taken to Kent for questioning.
