FIRE: Eachill Gardens in Rishton
A KITCHEN fire broke out at a house in Rishton.
A fire service spokesman said a wooden chopping board had accidentally been left on a lit hob at a home in Eachill Gardens at 5pm.
He said: "Two fire engines from Hyndburn responded to the 999 call.
"The fire was already out on their arrival and had not spread or developed further.
"No-one was injured."
