FOUR intruders who burst into a Hyndburn home armed with claw hammers are being hunted by police.
Police say the gang forced their way into a house in Haworth Street, Rishton, at around 9.30pm last night.

But a Lancashire Police spokesman said that once they were inside the property they were challenged by a man and then fled.
Before leaving the area, the men are said to have damaged a Citroen Picasso car, which was parked nearby but belonged to another householder.
An appeal for witnesses has been issued, with anyone with information asked to call either the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number ED170135.
