AN OSWALDTWISTLE man has admitted flashing at 10 women in Burnley.

And Vincent Mills, Roe Greave Road, has been warned that he could face a jail term when he is sentenced.

Mills pleaded guilty to 10 counts of indecent exposure during a hearing at Burnley Crown Court.

The 40-year-old, who was granted bail, will have to continue to reside at his home address and not enter Burnley unless he is meeting with his solicitors, John Maxwell defending told the hearing.

Mills wanted to put the incidents behind him and would benefit greatly from the help from the probation service, added Mr Maxwell.

Mr Maxwell said: "He found it very difficult to admit and knows he will inevitably have to face the consequences.

"He wants it understood that he wants this behind him.

"He will benefit considerably from one or the other options provided by the probationary services."

Prosecuting solicitors will give further details about the incidents at the sentencing hearing.

Judge Pamela Badley said Mills would be given full credit for his guilty plea.

She said: "Before passing sentence I will look at all the information available to me.

"All the sentencing options including custody are open to the court."

The hearing was adjourned until June 16 so a pre-sentence report could be drawn up.

I cant agree with you more, as do the people closest to him. No-one is condoning what he has done, its disgusting that he has put his family through this. He is genuinely a nice chap though, but quite obvioulsy has some problems that he needs to address.

I am a friend of Vinny and his girlfriend, he now knows he has done wrong and will have to face whatever the judge decides but at the end of the day, he still has a girlfriend and children who will be hurt by nasty comments that people feel they have a right to leave, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but sumtimes they need to keep it to themselves. please think about the people that this is hurting, not just Vinny.

Why is it that people are always quick to judge before they know the facts. Lets hope for the others who have made comments, that one of their family members never get accused of something like this. Im sure they wudnt be quick to judge then. (and let me add that I am no way related tho this person, so I am not writin this just because I feel I have to) )

Lock him away and don't let him out until a large number of psychiatrists are 99% sure that he will no longer be a danger to women.
