CALLS are being made for both volunteers and guests to attend a disability party night in Oswaldtwistle.
The U-Night Group, provides various events and parties for people with physical and learning disabilities.
It is now looking for more volunteers to come forward to help run events as well as encouraging more guests to attend.
The next event from the group will be a 'through the ages' themed evening at Oswaldtwistle Civic Arts Centre on Friday, August 11, from 6.30pm.
Coordinator Lucy Hamlin said: “People with learning disabilities do not always get the chance to go out, have a drink and meet like-minded people.
"We have a core group of people that meet once a month at our event night, and they drive the themes of what we do."
