A FEMALE betting shop worker was threatened with hammers by two masked men during an armed robbery.
Police said two men entered the Betfred bookmakers on Union Road, Oswaldtwistle at 9.40pm on Monday, February 22.

The men shouted threats and brandished weapons, believed to be hammers.
They demanded the worker unlock the safe at the premises.
A police spokesman said the pair escaped on to Union Road after taking around £100 from the shop's till.
After they left they ran towards and down Roe Greave Road.
Police said that the suspects were described as wearing all dark clothing from head to foot with their faces concealed.
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area on Monday night or has any information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 1434 of February 22.
