DIANA Vickers says she would like to become a TV presenter after appearing on Blue Peter.
A film crew from the BBC children’s show visited the 20-year-old singer in her rehearsal studio last week and on Thursday, she co-hosted the show.
Diana said: “I was so chuffed to be asked to be a part of the show and even though I was very nervous, as I have no real experience of presenting.
“I think I kept a cool head and did the best I could.
“We were rehearsing the show all day as there was lots to get through before we went live at 5.45pm. People say there is nothing like the buzz of live television.
“I do agree but it did feel a bit overwhelming as I’d never done the job before!”
She added: “All of the Blue Peter production team were so wonderful and helpful with me and the whole day was such a pleasure. I felt like I learnt a lot!
“The pressure of presenting a live show is a hard job, especially when they chop and change things when you’re live.
“You just have to roll with it and think on the spot.”
