FORMER X Factor finalist Diana Vickers has joined a host of celebrities in designing a cushion for BBC Children in Need.

The East Lancashire singer songwriter, 22, has come up with her design alongside Denise van Outen, Alex Jones, and Misha B.

The cushions are being made available at the DFS eBay store from today and all of the profits from each sale will be donated straight to the charity.

Diana said: “I’m so proud to be supporting the amazing work that BBC Children in Need carries out every day in the UK and have had great fun thinking up the design.

“I’m a girly girl at heart and a hopeless romantic, so I love the patchwork prints and sayings.

“I can see my cushion in girl’s rooms across the country.”

The celebrities will be competing against each other to see which collection, which were produced in the UK, will end up being the best selling.

Last month the Huncoat pop star released her second album Music To Make Boys Cry – and a single of the same name.

She was also heard as the voice to TV adverts promoting top boyband One Direction’s perfume with a cover of Mr Favourite Things.

Helen Normoyle from DFS said: “We are thrilled to launch our very first BBC Children in Need cushion collection.

It is wonderful to join forces with Denise, Alex, Misha and Diana on this creative project to help such a worthy cause.

“The girls have all done an amazing job and the cushions will not only help to raise much needed funds for a great cause, they’ll also look great in living rooms and bedrooms across the country.”

The cushion collection is part of DFS’s drive to raise £1 million for BBC Children in Need this year.
