DIANA Vickers has joined a star studded campaign to beat breast cancer.

The East Lanashire singer is backing Asda’s Tickled Pink campaign, which aims to help customers and staff raise money for top breast cancer charities Breast Cancer Campaign and Breast Cancer Care.

Diana recently joined her X Factor colleague Alexandra Burke plus Corrie actress Michelle Keegan, former Eastenders star Kara Tointon, and The Only Way Is Essex star Lydia Bright.

The theme for this year’s photoshoot was Birds of a Feather, which saw the former Westholme pupil pose in a feathered dress, specially created by fashion designer – and Strictly Come Dancing contestant – Julien Macdonald.

Diana and the other celebrities backing the bid were photographed in a romantic pink-themed setting.

It is the second time Diana has supported the Tickled Pink campaign with a photoshoot.

Earlier this year she modelled the latest Tickled Pink T-shirts designs from Asda clothing line George paired with denim shorts.

Diana has a track record of using her fame in the name of charity. During her time on The X Factor she took part in the series’ charity single Hero, in aid of Help For Heroes – raising £1.3million split between that charity and the British Legion Poppy Fund.

Last month the Huncoat pop star released her second album Music To Make Boys Cry – and a single of the same name. She was also heard as the voice to TV adverts promoting top boyband One Direction’s perfume – with a cover of Mr Favourite Things.
