A CAR went airborne and ended up on its roof after the driver lost control in Burnley Road, Huncoat.
Blackburn magistrates heard driver Ashley Brynes, and his two passengers, all suffered minor injuries in the incident, which happened at about 11pm.
Charges of driving without due care and attention, and without insurance, were proved in his absence, and the case was adjourned so Brynes, 26, of Castle Street, Burnley, could attend court, or face disqualification in his absence.
The court heard Brynes was driving towards Accrington when he was forced to swerve to avoid a car in front, which braked sharply.
As a result, he lost control of his car, crossed the opposite carriageway, and mounted the pavement, before crashing through a metal railing fence.
The car went airborne as it dropped down an embankment, before rolling onto its roof, and striking the wall of a house, in Jupiter Court.
