A DAY care group has recently started sessions for growing fruit and vegetables at their Great Harwood base.

The Base, which caters for adults with learning disabilities have started ‘Eat and Grow’ sessions at their Queen Street centre on Tuesday evenings. Manager Tracy Houldsworth said: “The sessions are going really well and are so popular with our users. As a result we would like to open up the session to other community groups or interested individuals.”
