A CARE organisation has held its fourth annual awards to recognise and reward special achievements by staff.
Townfield Care, run by brothers Michael and John Timmins, handed out awards at its ceremony at Great Harwood Golf Club last week.
The group runs Townfield & Coach House, a specialist dementia care home in Great Harwood and a small residential home for the elderly in Rishton, as well as running a home care service.
Dawn Spence was named employee of the year at the ceremony, while long service awards were handed out, including one to Linda Brown for 20 years of work.
Michael Timmins said: “The awards have been another fantastic success, we introduced them to ensure that our staff are recognised for the brilliant job that they do.
"We have had another really successful year as a company and that really is down to the hard work and dedication of the care teams”
