A FIRE at at a scrapyard is 'not believed to be a risk to residents', police said.
A statement has been issued by officers in regards to the on-going fire at the TH Smith and Sons scrapyard in Meadow Street, Great Harwood.
Police said they are working with the Fire Service and the Environment Agency to deal with the matter.
A spokesman said: "We appreciate that this is a concern for people.
"There isn't believed to be any immediate risk to nearby residents."
