THREE people have been taken to hospital after a house fire in Great Harwood.
Firefighters attended the incident in St Cecilia Street at around 11.40am this morning.
A man and two children were taken to hospital as a precautionary measure following the fire.
The blaze started in a bedroom and was confined to the one room.
A fire service spokesman said: "Three occupants had suffered the effects of breathing smoke and were taken to hospital by ambulance for precautionary checks.
"They weren't seriously hurt and had got out by the time we got there.
"We are investigating what caused the fire."
