A MAN has appeared before magistrates charged with handling stolen goods.
Tommy Smith, 40, of Meadow Street, Blackburn, appeared at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court last week where he was remanded in custody.
Smith will appear before a judge at Burnley Crown Court on July 27 where he will enter a plea to the charge.
A police spokesman said the arrest and charge follows the discovery of a six tonne dumper truck at a premises in Alan Ramsbottom Way, Great Harwood, on June 28 which is believed to have been stolen.
Anyone with information can call police on 101.
