Police accident.
A YOUNG child was hit by a car in Great Harwood.
The incident happened at around 3.30pm in St Huberts Road and involved a red Peugeot 206 and a child approximately 10-years-old, police said.
Police said the boy did not suffer any serious injuries and is now at home.
The road was temporarily blocked and several officers attended but it was cleared shortly after.
