A 36-YEAR-OLD Great Harwood man failed to comply with requests to clear rubbish from his back yard.
Blackburn magistrates heard Scott McDonnell had not responded to a warning letter or a community protection notice and had failed to pay a fixed penalty notice.
And he was convicted in his absence of failing to comply with the protection notice after he failed to turn up at court.
McDonnell, of Cross Street, Great Harwood, was fined £220 and ordered to pay £310 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
