HYNDBURN Borough Council will today decide whether to sell two vacant pieces of land in Great Harwood.
The end-of-terrace sites, at Cross Street and St Edmunds Street, have become neglected since their acquisition in the 60s and 70s.
And they have attracted ‘anti-social uses such as unauthorised ball games’, the council said.
The sites could be sold to neighbouring residents after they expressed an interest in buying them for house and garden extension purposes.
