A DRUG dealer is wanted on prison recall after failing to comply with the conditions of his prison licence.

Stephen Robinson, 28, from Burnley, is also wanted for questioning in relation to a Clayton-le-Moors robbery.

Robinson was originally jailed for two years for possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply after he was convicted and sentenced at Burnley Crown Court in September 2008.

But he has failed to comply with the terms of his licence and has now been recalled to serve the remainder of his sentence.

The robbery took place at the Londis News Extra shop, in Barnes Road, Clayton-le-Moors, in May last year.

Robinson is around 5ft 9 ins tall, with blue eyes and a local accent. He also has a scar on his right forearm.

He previously lived in the Oswaldtwistle area and it is believed that he could still be in East Lancashire.

Inspector John Clucas said: “We would ask the public to be vigilant and report any sightings to the police – any details could be crucial.”
