PROPOSALS have been submitted to build six new bungalows at the site of a former vehicle repair garage.
Plans have been submitted to Hyndburn Borough Council to carry out the work in the land off Fort Street in Clayton-le-Moors.
The bungalows would all have one bedroom and one car parking space per property.
The site is currently a brownfield site overgrown but was previously home to a lock up and repair garage.
The application has been submitted by Debra Wolthuis, from Clayton-le-Moors.
A planning statement from agent PD Construction Consultants in Clitheroe said: “Careful consideration has been given during the design process to create minimum visual impact on the immediate area. The buildings are to be of a traditional design and are grouped close to the existing properties on Grange Road within the settlement boundary.”
A regular bus service is located five minutes away.
