PEOPLE living with dementia have been invited to a drop in session after Easter.
A Hyndburn Dementia Hub drop in session will be held for people who have dementia or memory impairment and people caring for someone with dementia or memory impairment.
This drop in session features guest speaker Faxi Assi, from Lancashire Fire and Rescue, giving a talk on “Safety innovations for people living with Dementia.”
There will be the opportunity for an informal chat and some light Easter themed refreshments in a welcoming environment.
Professionals will be on hand with lots of advice and to answer questions.
There will also be lots of information about therapies available including walking and gardening for health, the new “Memory Catchers” project, Art Therapy, and falls prevention.
The next free drop in session will run at Clayton le Moors Baptist Church, Sparth Road, Clayton on Thursday April 12 from 11am to 2.30pm.
There is no booking required.
