STAFF at two pubs have been nominated for an award by Hyndburn MP Graham Jones.
Emma Gilmartin at The Crown Inn in Clayton-le-Moors and Pete Johnson at the White Bull in Oswaldtwistle have both been nominated for the Parliamentary Pub Chef of the Year Award.
Mr Jones praised both chefs for their hard work and 'tireless commitment' in producing their food menus.
He said: "Both are extremely deserving candidates.
"Such awards are truly important, not only to pub chefs within the area but also to the local community.
"It is fantastic to reward local talent and to see skilled individuals receive recognition for their hard work and dedication."
The White Bull in New Lane has already found success this year by winning the 'Best Turnaround' prize at the Thwaites Pub Awards in June.
