A PLANT pot memorial dedicated to a baby that had died before reaching full term has been found.

Kyle Livesey, 20, and Paige Rhodes, 17, created the memorial after they had a miscarriage three months into their pregnancy.

The memorial had the baby's remains inside and a love heart shaped plaque to their 'sleeping angel'.

The pair, from Clayton-le-Moors, launched an appeal yesterday calling on whoever had taken it to 'look to their conscience' and put it back.

It was taken from Whalley Road between 12am last Thursday and 8.30pm on Friday.

A member of the public found it in the Moor Street area today.

A police spokesman said: "A plant pot memorial dedicated to a baby that died before reaching full term has been found.

"The pot had been taken from the back yard area of a house on Whalley Road in Clayton-le-Moors between 12am on Thursday and 8.30pm on Friday when the baby’s distraught parents discovered it had gone.

"Following a press appeal for information, a member of the public found the memorial pot intact in the Moor Street area today.

"Thank you to those who shared our earlier appeal."
