INCONSIDERATE: Mount Pleasant Primary in Clayton-le-Moors has been facing parking problems
A SCHOOL in Clayton-le-Moors has been receiving complaints over ‘dangerous parking’.
Staff at Mount Pleasant Primary School in Earl Street said they have problems with cars parking on yellow zig zag lines.
The school has also had complaints about ‘inconsiderate’ parking in front of the houses in Earl Street and Duke Street.
A spokesman said: “Our school and the police are still getting reports regarding inconsiderate and dangerous parking outside our front gates.
“Cars parking on the yellow zig zag lines causes visibility issues to pedestrians of all ages who are crossing the roads to get to and from school."
