The body was found near Enfield Wharf in Clayton-le-Moors
A MAN walking his dog pulled a body out of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal on Boxing Day.
Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the death which they said they were treating as 'unexplained'.
The body was found near Enfield Wharf in Clayton-le-Moors around 9am.
A police spokesman said: "’We can confirm a male's body was found in the canal near Accrington. It is currently being treated as unexplained."
