THE renovated Clayton-le-Moors post office will be officially opened by the mayor of Hyndburn on Friday.
Coun Judith Addison will cut the ribbon at the office, in Pickup Street, at 12pm.
Schoolchildren from All Saints Church of England Primary School and Mount Pleasant Primary School will sing Christmas carols.
Hyndburn MP Graham Jones and several councillors are also expected to attend.
Owner and postmaster Zafar Ali said: “It should be a nice event. Hopefully, weather depending, we will have a good public turnout.”
The post office was closed for a month earlier this year while £80,000 of work was carried out on the building.
