Walk with TV star

EAST Lancashire people are being invited to take a walk with a Coronation Street star, for charity.
Fundraisers can join actress Julie Hesmondhalgh, from Church, who is better known as Hayley Cropper, for a 10-mile sponsored walk along the Leeds-Liverpool canal on Sunday May 11.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Church and Oswaldtwistle, it's an ideal opportunity for participants to raise money for the cause of their choice.
The walk begins at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel between 9.30am and 10am and ends at Thompson Park, Burnley, where transport is available back to the Dunkenhalgh. To register for the walk contact Fred Pickering on 01254 243 965 or email fred.pickering. t21@btinternet.com.
