AN estimated 1,500 people descended on Hyndburn Leisure Centre, in Church, for Blackburn and East Lancashire Model Railway Society’s exhibition at the weekend.
Steve Hewitt, from the group said: “It has gone very well and we have been busy all weekend.
“There have been exhibits from all over the country, including Bristol and Gloucester.And we had a demonstration of building a track from some people who live in France.”
