Hyndburn men jailed for attack in vendetta

TWO men said to have smashed their way into a flat and attacked a woman in a vendetta have both been jailed for 20 months.

Jordan Roche, 25, and Richard O’Brien, 28, were said to have confronted her in her bedroom, one armed with a sword and hammer, from outside the window. Both went in the flat, in Church, and the victim was punched and left with a bloody nose, Burnley Crown Court heard.

Roche, of Dunnyshop Avenue, Accrington, and O’Brien, of Norfolk Grove, Church, were convicted of assault causing actual bodily harm.
