Crash closes Church road

A CAR overturned after hitting a lamppost and another vehicle in Market Street, Church, at 7.25am today.
The male driver of the overturned vehicle had to be rescued from his car by fire cews from Accrington Fire Station.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene for minior injuries. A female driver of another car was also involved in the accident but did not sustain any injuries.
The road was closed whilst police recoverd both vehicles and reopened at around 8.30am.
