THE driver of a bus was taken to hospital following a collision with a car, which smashed the front windscreen.
Six passengers were on board the 152 late service from Burnley to Preston at around 7.20pm on Monday when the incident happened.
The Lancashire United bus was hit while travelling along the Shuttleworth Hall Link Road, near to the Shuttleworth Mead Business Park, in Altham.
John Threlfall, from Lancashire United, said: “It is alleged that the car came through a red light. No passengers were injured, and police attended the scene. We are providing on-board CCTV to the police.
